Ok so before I tear into this project Id like to get it so that my celica will at least start now (died last week...) Anyways I figure its going to probably be my MAF, throttle controll sensor, ECU, or ignitor. Anyways, I think that the MAF and ignitor should be relatively easy to find since theyre on most all celicas. However, the ECU and the throttle controll sensor might be hard to come by, so I was hoping that somebody in the area parting out an ST185 or if there are any known busted MR2's out there with the same parts? Looking to find them cheap.

91 MR2 turbo ECU and 90-91 Alltrac ECU will work on your 91 harness.
Other 5th gen Celica's do not use AFM.
You can only use AFM from 88-93 alltrac/GT4, 91-95 USDM MR2 Turbo, 91-93 MR2 Turbo elsewhere.

was looking at the guts to an 88 celica with the 2sfe motor and it has the same exact MAF in it... just that the alltracs utilize it differently.

No, it's not the same and it won't work.
