tranny oil and rear diff oil

i think im running the redline 75-90ns on my tranny and it shifts great..perfect with no grinds at all...yes 5.5 qt..so be sure to get 6 qt.

Im using redline 75W90 NS in the tranny, and straight 75W90 in the rear diff

Is there a breather hole on the diff that will leak out the gear oil if it was filled with too much gear oil?

The seals on the diff were changed and now car drips gear oil once its driven.. The mech said that he thinks too much oil is in the diff and it would soon run out to the correct level. He put in almost 2qts

thats too much. all you need is 1.2qt. You might need a new washer if its dripping too much.

Thanks for the info, so it might just be that there is too much oil. The seals are brand new, so I figured they werent the issue. Which washer are you referring to?
