From what I could see with my car raised, I have a fair amount of backlash in the centre diff - front and rear wheels take a few degrees to begin turning together when direction is changed. Is anyone aware of roughly how many degrees is normal before I start removing shims from the transfer side-gear case to get it reduced. The front and rear diffs have minor amounts of slack as you'd expect, maybe 1 degree or so. I was thinking of matching that.
