I have just noticed my st185 clunking from the front (i think right) wheel, it's noticeable when accelerating and decelerating, it does not do it during slow acceleration but more so on hard or boost. and sometimes it goes away

what is this? i took it to the mechanic but he was unable to diagnose the problem for it was not doing it when he worked on it

can you help ?

I'm getting a clunking when after reversing, I move forward....just one clunk. Is that my rear diff/diff mount?

If it's a single clunk I am willing to bet it's a mount somewhere. Either your diff mount or the front rear engine mounts.

The diff mount is the more common problem, but for my car the problem was the engine mounts. Thats the only reason I mention them. Get under the car and inspet that rear diff mount. Make sure it's not cracked and that the rubber is still attached to the frame of the mount.
