Oil leak gone too far!

I had an oil leak in the oil pan, and by the time I replaced the gasket some oil already sneaked it's way in through the clutch inspection plate. The clutch isn't slipping, so I was advised to pretty much ignore it until I decide to put in a lightweight flywheel, or find some other reason to remove the tranny.

Naturally, I can't ignore it after seeing it all gooked at the bottom like that. Is there anything I can do right now to clean it out? I may not be getting any slippage now, but who knows what tomorrow will bring.

If it got on the back of the flywheel, it's unlikely it contaminated the disk material. If you're paranoid you could always pull the starter out and check the disk with a borescope.

My Trueno did it, I had gook everywhere except inside the clutch. I wouldn't worry about it.
