DRIVE FORCE BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR

Postby kdog74 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 6:42 pm

WHATS UP CELICA'S, I JUST DROVE MY 1990 ALLTRAC AROUND ALITTLE.HAS JDM ENGINE. GOT A LITTLE STORY FOR YOU PEPS. I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 3-12. I WAS LIVING AT THE BEACH IN WILMINGTON N.C. CAR DIDN'T RUN FOR SHIT ON BOOST. MOVED BACK HERE TOWARDS THE MOUNTAINS AND STARTED DRIVING AND IT GOT BETTER AND BETTER. STILL ITS SLOW IN MY OPINION. I HAD A 1986 GTS THAT WOULD KICK ASS HARD( DID HOME PORT HEAD AND LIGHTEN IT UP) IVE OWNED 4 CELICAS NOW. BACK TO ALLTRAC, I JUST WENT AROUND A 90 DEGREE TURN ON THE GAS, AND IT UNDER STEERED. I WANNA KNOW THE POWER SPLIT BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR. I USE TO WORK AT A VOLVO HYUNDAI SUBARU DEALERSHIP. I DROVE SOME FACTORY AND MODIFIED WRX'S. THEY STUCK PRETTY DAMN GOOD. I KNOW CELICA WAS FRIST BAD ASS AND ITS OLD. I HAVE DONE PRETTY GOOD RESEACRH. DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD LET HER GO OR WHAT. KNOW THE CHEAP MODS(SOMEWHAT), MORE POWER WOULD GIVE ME IDEA WHAT TO DO. SEEN BEFORE THERE WAS A GUY IN CHARLOTTE N.C HAD ALLTRAC, SO, SAYING, IF ANYONE IS NEAR, PLEASE, I WOULD LOVE TO RIDE AND SEE YOUR ALLTRAC, TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE. I COULD GO ON,BUT, I WON'T FOR KNOW. PLEASE REPLIE

The power is 50/50, but the weight isn't If your struts are old, you'll get understeer.

If you do a quick search you should find a thread where there was a bunch of researching and testing done that confirmed that our cars are 50/50 unless the viscous coupler is worn or damaged.

If you're not gonna believe the answer we give you, why the hell would you bother asking?
