camry heads to celica?

will my bonestock 1988 camry awd engine heads fit on my 88 celica? if so this would save a lot of time and money!

the celica has a gen 1 3sgte bone stock
the camry has the 3S-FE or 3S-GE i cant really remember...

Either head will bolt on, but coming from a Camry the head is most likely the FE version. That head is designed for fuel economy so it will not perform as well as the GE head (or the GTE head.) Neither the FE nor GE heads will have the mounting points for the WTA intercooler, but that's not really a problem. To get those mounting points you need the GTE head.

lol thanks so much, i found an old block an head with no valves for 200 but i think its second gen... would that be a better option?

Unless you want to change other parts too you're stuck using the 1st gen 3SGTE head.
