best st165 headgaskets??

whats the best head gasket i can put in my st165, also i found an 88 jdm 3sgte tranny and turbo for 850 is that more economical?

The best head gasket is a multi-layer-steel gasket like this one:

I recommend that you don't use stock head bolts with a MLS gasket though. I suggest a good set of studs like these:

Note: The studs will require greater torque (60 lb-ft if I remember right) than the stock 36 lb-ft.

Check out the Porterfield R4S brake pads at twosrus too. I have run them for a long time and highly recommend them.
