That was the first thing I did Luke....the pump didn't turn on with the ignition. That was the stimulant for me to start checking all the components in the electrical chain of the fuel system.

Ok so she lives! Ha! I took her to a fellow 185 owner who is pretty good with 3sgtes and he was able to start her up! The turbo map sensor was tossed and there may be a small vacuum leak as she idles pretty quick....around 2000 rpm but at least the engine runs and boy does she sound strong and loud!

Apparently there are some electrical gremlins that have to be sorted - this was the reason why the fuel pump was not switching on. But now strangely the car won't shut off via the ignition switch. But I am glad that the car is in good hands and together my buddy and I will get her up and running in no time at all.

Made some more decisions about my head and ems since the local autox club amended their rules, which sufficed to say will not work in my favour with the current setup. The main problem is that a boost controller (any type) now carries a penalty and on top of that, the club have reduced the number of penalty points that result in a class bump. So that its either I lose the ems or the ebc.

Funny enough, I have opted to remove the Link EMS. This is due to the hassle and cost in tuning and re-tuning, as well as that I am making some power changes to the head where I will now use ST205 ecu and electronics to manage things.

I am removing the 272 cams and valvetrain internals and instead going with a gen3 3sgte valvetrain and cams on my gen2 head. The TVIS has been removed, the intake manifold siamesed and ported, wrc ct20b and the fuel rail bored and holds 550cc supra injectors. So that with the exception of the larger gen3 throttle body, the head should produce power similar to that of a gen3 3sgte.

I also have my Teins, braided brake lines and C-One lightweight crank pulley to install.

Hoping to get this done before the end of June so I can do some testing of the car.

So the engine bay has been tidied up a bit...and I guess that's a start. The main order of business is to get the wiring harness sorted.

I looks like this for now. Thinking of going with a 3sge side feed intake manifold.
