I am selling the old sard. The problem is the muffler is detached from the piping. So essentially I am selling some 2.5" piping for a diy kit. I was thinking the sard could be fixed, but the muffler is likely more trouble than its worth to fix. I just had not updated my for sale thread yet.

This is how the muffler was attached once I took it off. So.... it wasn't. Which explains how the car ended up so loud.

Haha loud is relative I guess. I've been running open mid pipe for almost as long as I've owned the car but I only drive to autox or track events mostly. Never really casually drive the car much. I want to change that so hence the need for an exhaust haha. Yea that sard looks pretty beat but if the piping is in good shape it'll make a great diy kit for someone like you said.

Yeah, the piping is good. I was originally going to just get a muffler for it, but I decided to think long run and get 3" for future power goals. If this ebay exhaust had not shown up local, I likely would had waited for the HKS. I want to have this a dual purpose car, so I needed to make it quiet again. It was too loud for a conversation or for the sake of my daughters ears.

Now with the extra cash I got back from the hks, I can look for a clutch. Then I got to start saving for a cusco rear lsd. The torsen seems to be doing fine, but I don't think higher power levels and autox are going to mix with it down the road. trying to debate on keeping it, or trading it for an open housing plus cash. Its low priority though since we are at the end of the season.

Exhaust is done, so I am back on the road again. I'll have a video up on it likely next month.

Just like the other thread. I was hoping it didn't need that much modification to work but I guess that isn't terrible.

What you save in money you pay in time. It isn't awful but it could be better.

A little project I am working on. If there is any interest I might print a few more for sale once I calculate cost.

I picked up the ebay exhaust (speed daddy brand) and installed it this afternoon. I was anticipating running into the same issues you did but it fit as intended with no modification. I was able to slip the muffler above the subframe and connect it to the rest of the exhaust without loosening the subframe. The only thing I need to pickup is the extended rubber exhaust hanger as shown in your video for the muffler. I'm not going to clutter your thread with my car pictures so I'll just link the album. http://imgur.com/a/SvpgI

Glad it worked out better for you. I am curious how close they stay to their jig when mass producing them.

A new vid is up, and it is literally just a bunch of parts weighing.

In talks with racerx again on the arms. He told me in 2016 he will no longer be doing custom orders, so I may have the only set.

That's too bad. I bet it's hard for him to justify the time investment for how much he gets back though. A shame as you'd think he could take the custom order and template it out for future customers... Or offer up a group buy perhaps.
