ill be working my way up in the trac start at wg pressure so prob 600hp
and move my way up in 200hp increments until im at full 1500
so if nothing breaks we should see some sick numbers 2-4weeks after completion  im sure the ride will be wild but if i can control the wk race trck at 90-100mph in a 30 year cutline im sure ill be fine in a nicely prepped dragstrip  well lets hope anyway hahah

How are you going to fit your gigantic balls in the race seat?

That's what held back Evel Knievel on the Snake River jump...

No, I don´t think I will dyno this engine, I just tune it on the street, then the quarter mile speed and time will tell me how fast (or slow) it is :)

Looking forward to see how your car will run.
Are you converting the trac to rear wheel drive?

Looks like Crower BC0352 280 cams I've got a couple sets of them.

I didn't read the whole thread. But your HP claims are quite high, revving to 12k Good luck.

I'd love to see you succeed but I've been in this game since you were 9 yrs old and have built a 948 hp 3S-GTE. Most of your plans are solid but, 12,000 RPMS? I know your using NOS but the rotational mass is too high to acheive 12,000 RPMS not to mention valve float. Even TODA Triple Valve springs weren't enough to stop my 3S from valve float at 9500rpms.
Your spending a ton of money and I expect to see 1 maybe 2 drag runs and a cracked block near the waterpump. For that kind of power without just blowing your money and your block, you may want to look into the 5VZ-FE. I know your looking for that 4cylinder record. But those kinda of goals just aren't gonna happen on a 3S/5S without completely destroying things.

If you really are intent on making that much power. You might want to look into Magneto's and Nitro Methane and a SHIT TON OF BOOST. You'll be rebuilding the engine every couple of runs.

I used to work on the pit crew for the TRD Top Fuel Celica back in 2004. I know a bit about big power.

Like I said I didn't read your entire thread, I'm not quite calling BS. But you got big dreams.

Damn... never thought a car engine would ever be revved much past 9k... this 12k plus is like street bike territory! Best of luck for sure; I hope you have all the bases (and outfield, dugout, stands and parking lot) covered.

You're spending a ton of money and I expect to see 1 maybe 2 drag runs and a cracked block near the water pump.

Like his signature says, "Breaking records and breaking parts go hand in hand." so I bet you're anticipating something to go 'pop'?

Should be fun up 'til then...

If he really made 948 hp then you should be keen to take his advice.

What have you done to remedy the block cracking?

dan i fully expect there to be snags / hikups but this motor has a whole lot of stuff no other 3s has had

the block cracking by the water pump is due to the upward force on the head stud flexing the block (cast iron doesnt like to bend) the hard fill in the water jackets removes all flex in the block and the headstuds are not the only thing holding my head on the block

if i run nitromethane i will be rebuilding the motor EVERY pass ill be burning the rings out and i am running a magneto
