spray the alcohol/water after the intercooler core, or it will condense on the core's fins

i did take that into consideration, but the reason i put before the intercooler like that, so that the cold methanol of which is extremely volatile would cool the intercooler core even more, hence colder air

^when you spray it before the core it will condense on the core fins like klue said and pool on the bottom of the intercooler. run it like that at your own risk, especially with meth. plus you are not introducing as much liquid in the combustion chamber (where the heat transfer is the most effective) as you normally would b/c some is condensing on the int core. anyway, keep up the good work.

/\ yeah that does make sense, just the bitch is...that i already drilled into my intercooler...we will see how well it works, and if it totally sux ass, then i will do just as u guys say...

updates:

i have pulled that "decal plate" off from my intercooler and painted everything else all black, sorta like the ST205 W2A's...but mine will be cooler....i'm having my metal specialist, cut me out a piece of Mirror-finished steel to replace that one plate, and then i'm going to stick that TRD emblem and intercooler emblem on there...and its going to look sick.

my friend finally brought the last drilled rotor he sold to me, and i started the installation yesterday, but the bitch is, i keep chipping my red calipers, and its really starting to piss me off...on top of the fact, that my calipers are really starting to to piss me off more, since once i pulled them, re-aligning those two damn @#^%@%$ bolts is really a bitch for me...

pulled the stockie oil cooler, i'm begun the fabrication process of my ram air oil cooler, caped off the hoses from hell, never have to worry about them again

i'm now setting up up my oil pressure and oil temp gauges too, and finding their location where i want them in my cabin

almost done welding my frame for my new seats too

looking at a couple things now to purchase since i get paid soon...walboro pump, and some whiteline springs from 935, poly bushings from 935, and looking at the prices of bigger injectors...hmmm...lol if only i were to win the lottery :P

haha and i keep bleeding for this car like no other, i split my finger nail down the center, and that hurts alot every time i type...damned rusty bolts...

i will have pics up prolly later today...maybe, if it rains, then no. lol.

like before def open to comments, suggestions, constructive criticism and ideas. thanks guys :D

VROOOMMMMM....i dream of the day....

I hope you have a lot of sucess with the cut out. Many electrical ones have been sketchy in the past with premature failure. Vacuum operated ones are more reliable, but let us know how it goes.

I have some of those same patches BTW.

well for the brief amount of time i got to use/enjoy/love my car, i did experience one problem to a some degree...once i closed it all the way i would need to a C-Clamp or someone ready to push the button as i pushed on the butterfly valve to open....and as i said, to some degree...look at the picture and u should note that the entire thing is covered in carbon...i was running REALLLLLLY rich, and all that crap built up and sealed her shut....some times if i was boosting, and i were to hit the button it would pop open...but my problems were all due to my richness and the carbon build up...but other than that i loved it and was worth every penny to me :D

Image
alright the brakes are being a serious pain in my ass right now...

Image
i cant seem to make them clear the pads at all...

Image
no matter what amount of effort i put into it...this is sorta starting to piss me off lol

any ideas guys...what do u guys do? like what could i be doing wrong? help please lol

edit:
btw i found out who makes them...ACE performance? i have never heard of them...so they are DEF NOT brembo's at all...but w/e we will see how they hold up

^Get one of those brake piston tools to push the brake piston back into the bore. It's a simple little tool but works like a charm. I got mine for only $4.99 and it's great to have in the toolbox.

PS - Do you still have the AC compressor and (non-seized) AC clutch?
If so, PM me and lemme know how much you'd want for it.

Thanks, Rick

yeah i have both pistons compressed as much as i can, its just on the slider rail device, thats where its compressed too much, but i will buy the right tool for the job lol, maybe the c-clamp just cant cut it...

and i still have the compressor in, i will get it out eventually, just want to get the right belts first before i puller the compressor, but like everything else is pulled out tho...and excuse my ignorance but what is a AC clutch?

^AC clutch is just that grooved wheel at the end of the compressor; it's the part that contacts against the AC belt. It's all together.

Was your AC compressor still working?

honestly i dont think it was, maybe it just needed to be recharged, but i dont want to sell it to you only to find out that it doesn't work, i would feel like a douschebag, but when i pull the compressor i can sell ya the AC clutch to ya :), i'm sure that is fine condition but i will let you know once i pull it
