My gt42fast Project

I have a 1988 gt4. When i bought this car it had an hks fcon custom manifold and mr2 turbo upgrade. 3 inch piping from downpipe back and of course rims and things of that nature.

Well i have found that this and celica tech are very helpful and i appreciate the sponsors and wonderful insight that everyone puts on these sites.

What i plan on doing is swapping in the 205 wrc motor into the car because I found one that is fully built. My delimma and it may not be one is that the owner now wants to retain the transmission. I wanted to know if my 165 tranny will bolt to the 205 motor with a plate or modification.

I will post some fliks when i get into the project more, but for now i have so many questions. Good times people and thanks for any info.

Trans will fit just fine without any modification.

As for CelicaTech, be careful. They have alot of mis-information floating around over there.
