Looks like a lot of work. The parts look great after the shot peening. While you have everything apart, have you considered sourcing a 3sge manifold and FMIC? It yields a lot more room to grow than the constantly heat soaked TMIC with notoriously horrible distribution stock offset center feed manifold.

well after a long absence from this site and working on the trac because I was going to school and didn't have much extra time to work on it. :( I am finally back to working on it and finish rebuilding the motor. I am going to start posting more pictures up and im hoping to have it running either this month or early February.
Here is where i am at with it right now before we tore the motor down.

After a little over a year I am back to working on the Trac was out in Arizona for almost a year working and my lady was back here in Illinois sitting in the garage collecting some dust :x but after some surgery from an accident out there I moved back home now all i need to do is wait for me wrist pin retainers to come in and size my piston rings to bring her back to life.

thanks hendrix i am very happy of the turn out so far :D my dad has taught me alot about painting and hes helping me paint it we still have to paint the entire front end hood bumper front and rear fenders and the spoiler. then the rims we are painting gray like the stripe. So updates this weekend pictures to come soon we sized the pistons rings and installed the pistons in the block put the comet metal head gasket on (fact the comet head gasket is backwards from the stock gasket we put it on and the little arrow on the stock one is on the right side of the motor and the comet one there is no arrow but it is completely flipped around kinda weird but what can you do ) head is installed have the arp studs torqued down and hopefully will be starting with the cam shafts in a few days then timing we are getting so close!! :D cant wait to have my baby up and street legal haha

SO here we go update time the cams we a bitch to but in we had the head thermal cleaned and shot peaned so little balls were everywhere we had to run a tap through all the threads to get them out and on the 1st cap on the intake on of the bolts go stuck in there we had to drill the bolt out :bangshead: took forever but now we have a heli-coil in it and the cams are on along with the valve cover this weekend im on spring break with my college so crossing my fingers on getting it running

so I haven't posted on this thread in a while but we have made great progress on the car the old motor was trash so I ordered a 1994 gt4 front clip we tore the car back down put in the 205 motor and tranny in I will post pictures later have to pull them out took a lot of time doing the 205 front brake conversion. powder coated a lot of the under car brackets a-arms sway bars etc.... has ground control front and rear coilovers, I got a st205 rear end with the front clip so we will be installing that soon enough.
