Engine build is go!

Specs for the new engine so far:

Camry SXV20 5S-FE Engine Block & Crank
CP Custom 10:1 CR Pistons
Eagle 3S Rods
ARP Main, Rod & Head Studs
Ferrea 6000 Series Valves (1mm OS)
Extensive Port & Polish
High Flow 5S Oil Pump
High Flow Resin ST205 Water Pump
Cleaned & Tested ST205 550cc Injectors
Extra RC Engineering 550cc Injectors on Custom Fuel Rail (for staged use)
Factory ST205 W2A Intercooler

Awsome list so far I'm keen to hear about the 10:1 and the e 85. Should be very responsive. What turbo obviously down the track as that's an expensive build

Pretty interesting project here, can't wait to see pictures of the motor from the builder.

Take some vids too when you're done, throwing the car around corners :)

if you want the best for the headstuds, use these:

http://www.raceeng.com/p-11936-super-al ... m-set.aspx

you need to retap the block for 11*1.25mm thread, but that is very easy for your machinist.

10mm arp's are not so good for the big power, the head lifts with no problem.

$430 head studs... hah, no way.
$$s could be better spent elsewhere.

CP Custom 10:1 CR pistons
Eagle 3S rods
ARP main, rod & head studs
High flow 5S oil pump
5S or 3SGTE (gen2) sump
ST205 (if it fits) water pump
Current large A2A IC
Xtreme 5S Chromo (or Ally) flywheel + Xtreme 3S 6 puck cushioned clutch (DSBHD)
Injector Dynamics ID1000 (or ID1600) injectors + custom fuel rail + turbosmart FPR
Custom laser cut crank trigger wheel + Solaris 5S crank position sensor
MegaSquirt 3 (v3.0 PCB), with MS3X

So i finally got a chance to look at the ST215 head stuffs today.
Gave it all a good clean so i could properly inspect the head and make sure everything needed was there.

Comparing intake manifolds (ST205 left, ST215 right)

Comparing valve covers (ST205 left, ST215 right)

And again. Timing belt covers will be an issue :(
