The 215 engine with almost everything 205 slapped on it.
Water neck, wta system, resin impeller water pump, exhaust manifold, ct20xb turbo, St185 modified downpipe, a/c pump, pws pump. Plus a 2zz throttle body

Tell me more about the 2zz throttle body. I know they share the same tps. How does the idle air control work. Plug and play?

It requires some fitness and hole filling.
But the tps and iacv are the same plugs.
You don't have to, but should work the manifold to fit the new size to take advantage of it.
Its an internal idle system so it's quieter on cold starts

Damn, that engine bay looks great! Is that an egt sensor coming from your heat shield?
Does the car feel better running the st205 parts on the st215 motor?

Oh, for a quick update.
It ran for a few days on the new setup. Worked really well at 15psi.
Next day no start, likely electrical issues.
Couldn't get it to start again and stay running, just sounded like a misfire in the intake plenum.
2 days later I set it on fire for about 90 seconds and spend 5 weeks recovering the damages and also doing a front timing/seal job on it.
I go to test compression and I've got 130 on 1,2,4 but cylinder 3 is 0. I put 2 tsb of oil in. Nada.
But the oil doesn't go away, it's still in it Lmao. So the rings are good.
Perhaps weld slag from the the modified 205 core got in and ruined the valve seats. At this point I haven't removed the head so I don't have conclusions atm.
Luckily I have an entire engine worth of parts to go ahead and start on a forged build.
I'll post pics and the damages of the fire along with the entire 5 weeks of crazy repairs

What do you think caused the fire? That's pretty shitty news to hear! In for pics of the damage.
