Took an led. A spare ecu pin and removed two of the injector pins. Tested both while cranking..... I have pulse... Sir... Fuel pump relay works and drops voltage, but i have to manually ground fpr pin while disconnected to do it.
I took a continuity beeper and checked fc to see if it delivered ground signal while cranking or putting over.. It never did... Tomorrow while residual fuel drains in and i get one good start i will disconnect the sta pin from the ecu so to trick it to turn on FC. This way the COR turns on so the pump will run full time but the ecu wont know its starting so hopefully i get the rpm's needed for the FC to signal.. I have not been able to find any info on what rpm the ecu actually gives thd order to send the fc signal, i need a donor to test this or ask ths community.
Also, i checked spark off of the main lead from the coil and it fired nice and hot very powerful spark indeed. Ive tested compression before and its all 168-170...
What does all this mean... Well, injectors are either clogged or just dont function. I will check resistance tomorrow to see, but i have a feeling they just jave sediment in them. Injector pulse- fuel pump operation - spark- compression -

The fuel pump gets full voltage for something like 10 or 15 seconds after a start. Guys that forget to plug in the fuel pump resistor still get a start, but then the engine dies after a short time.

Otherwise, keep up the good work. Frustrating stuff.

You are correct about the fuel pump operation at start, you can hear it click after it stops cranking, i assume that's the sta circuit's doing, the black wire to the COR and sta pin. I would have swore that was from a same circuit as the one that actually fires the starter solenoid but now i think not because the only other way to power the COR is the NE signaled FC. Yeah.

Nice are you doing LED conversion? I want to do that too, I have to take my cluster out to put in a different resistor so my tach works with my coil conversion.

The led was already done actually. I just fixed some stuff with it.. And.. If you really look youll see the lit up needle. Very very difficult pita

It's hard to get the actual light color in a picture on my phone.

Its not actually that bright, just the camera really picks it up. I went to the junk yard and stripped like eight gauges for needles, i have orange white and these reddish ones. They are a light red but these are from a corolla i think "98 or so. Most of them fit on but some i had to use hot glue and super glue inside the needles to make them press on better. I still say it wasn't worth the time because it was six hours getting it perfect.. Smh, but im glad others appreciate the work. While the car sat between the old engine and the swap.... Ants made a home in my oem fuel rail... New fuel line being fitted this evening... I'm going to say 99.999999% sure that it will start tonight, fuel injector operation confirmed

It took awhile for the fuel system to fill up completely, it putted over for awhile but i kept cranking it and eventually it was running on at least three cylinders and after a few minutes she was able to idle and rev no problem.. Took her around the block and worked great so far. Lots of stuff to work out but all in all it's finally a bit of success. Sounds really nice and quiet but a rumble. Alternator bearings are going out fast, there is a whine, not sure if the bov is working i think i have to take it out and check it's operation. Gauge needles are all off because i more or less guessed where they needed to be. Tach is screwy and needs to be wound once more. Timing needs set, tps needs adjusted. Idle was a little high, brakes are mushy because the rust is being knocked off and needs another bleeding. Cooling system needs a good bleed, code 54 and 22 are on now, clutch felt really tight amd spot on weight, pws worked flawlessly. After 45 run time i saw no leaks and it didnt over heat. I never heard the rad fan turn on but then again maybe it never was hot enough (three row rad may help and 70/30 mix and higher psi cap)

I will be using a relay and connecting the NE ground for a switch for the power on the wta pump so it only comes on during running conditions instead of key on.
I have a bigger coil coming in next week and 7mm wires hooked up already plus my colder iridium plugs so ill be trying out 12btdc for timing. A/c will be dealt with next week, body kit development is on hold until its ready for daily use.

Really happy with progress today, a four dollar 95 celica st fuel line fixed everything.. Lmfao.
I have an old boost gauge ill hook up for temp use just until i get a truboost controller.
Ill let the stock system handle everything for now until its 100% then ill start in on performance. Man..
Thanks to this community i have my dream car amd drivetrain.
Thanks everyone!
Many updates to come
