Postby celi703 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 3:19 am

I bought this car from a member here on this site and was not running.
Its a 1990 Alltrac and needed alot of work to be running again.

Here it is the first day it arrived stock:
The latch didn't grab but is fixed, turned out to be just the latch

Fixed a couple leaks like the oil pan, distributor, valve cover, power steering lines and turbo pipe. Also replaced worn out sway bar bushings. I also powercoated the valve cover silver and installed a straight intake.

I got the rocker panels from a donor widebody gts. It was hard to source one but found one at a junkyard. I had a friend who didn't charge too much to weld them on and fixed the rust as well. This car has been alot of work and headaches but its all worth it. Just the other day had a red NSX owner saying he's never seen a alltrac in person. I haven't seen one around here in northern virginia. I'll post more updates when I get a chance.

Took a picture today of the parts installed mostly cosmetic CS Bumper, JDM side corner lights, Clear turn signals, Foglights for the CS Bumper (off a 90-91 celica), JDM Mirrors, JDM tail light vents, JDM push ashtray, System 10 door panels and still haven't finished installing the wrap on the steering wheel. Still waiting to install the hood trim. Also debating on whether to get the RC hood but I also like the stock Alltrac look. The car runs fine and all it needs is new paint.

rc bumper and the new JDM mirrors looks great man! continue the good work! whats your next steps/upgrades? are you going to remove the air intake entry for the old box next to the battery or your going to make a custom box?

Yes I'm going to remove the side entry for the stock air intake box. I was thinking of making a custom box but for now will leave it as is until I fabricate one. As for the next upgrades I'm not sure what would be next the car still needs paint and a little body work. But I'm just glad its running the cosmetic things are next.
