update

its been a while since i updated on here so here it goes

decided to rebuild engine

engine removal process started!

TVIS gone



side inlet manifold ,ported by louis
more great work from my mate louis :thumbsup:







hole drilled and now tapped for aquamist water injection jet



water injection pressure activated switch installed



cylinder head skimmed , head ready for re-assembly now



st205 gearbox as replacement







just have to swap over the poly mounts and get the new connectors for the braided lines for the gearbox cooler ,also renewing the 3 seals








got the crank balanced





my machinest told me it was pretty much in balance but he just took a little metal off the webs

installed clevite main bearings and st215 crankshaft









installed the acl big end bearings ,eagle rods, je pistons,oil cooler,water pump,thermostat





installed oil pump




got the D2 coilovers



Head went on last night

Head gasket



got superpro front wishbone bushes kit





One of the bucket seats I got.



rear main seal installed



new release bearing



flywheel installed with arps



clutch installed





finally gearbox and engine back together



Fitted clutch slave cylinder and the metal pipe snapped :x:x:x so if anyone has a spare metal clutch pipe they don't want please let me know

Changed the shorter slave cylinder pushrod for a longer one which will make using the clutch a bit easier on my left leg:grin:



just need to do a few other things and then its all ready to go back in

dont know why this hasnt carried on from my project thread but could the mods put this on my project thread ?thanks nick

I have also removed the power steering pump and converted to electric power steering, will post some pics up once all the pipes are connected and the electric pump is mounted
