On eBay. Check the seller's reputation, call the shop and take it from there. Utahsleeper got his off eBay too and it worked out just fine for him. I won't find out til I fire it up but the motor seems to be in real good shape.

Thanks. I contacted a couple via ebay message requesting a comp test video and a picture of inside the oil cap. They said they would provide them but never delivered. Going to give a few of them a call on the phone and see what happens. Looking forward to your updates.

Find the seller's name on eBay, Google the name and call them directly. Take a close look at the pictures and make sure it isn't missing sensors and doesn't look like it's been abused in any way.

So I found an st205 transmission today and will be having it shipped to my house sometime next week. I'm still undecided on whether or not I want to get an aluminum flywheel or just keep the stock one. Also, I will be ordering a down pipe and clutch kit but still haven't decided on which ones to get. Oh and I will need a new intercooler since the current one was filled with oil and I do not want to try and clean it all up, I'd rather just start fresh.

Cleaning oil out of an intercooler isn't too difficult, just get some cheap gas and cap off one end, slosh some gas around and dump it out, repeat til the gas come out clean.

My bad, meant to say fmic. The current mishimoto ic looks like it's been beat to shit, so I'd rather just start new.

And Prime is where I was planning on buying mine but there's also TCS Motorsports , that I know of.

IF I end up changing my mind and keeping the mishimoto then I will try your method. But as of right now I plan on taking some dimensions and ordering a new one.

I have found that Castrol Super Clean and water works really well too and is not only safer but you don't have to worry about where to dump it. The lawn didn't seem to care.

I mixed it up again to dilute the oil and just fed it through a 2 stroke lawnmower

You guys are convincing me to clean my intercooler. I might do it today or tomorrow just to see how it goes.

On the other hand, I just ordered an st205 transmission and should be here in about a week and a half.

Looks pretty rough, but if it doesn't leak I'd clean it up and keep it as a spare.

Yeah I'll hold on to it and see if I ever need it. I'll be cleaning out the garage real soon and gonna get rid of a lot of 5sfe stuff and old first gen stuff and I might change my mind and just get rid of this too.

So I removed the first gen motor today and I will be degreasing the shit out of the engine bay tomorrow since just about everything from cross members to control arms is coated with oil.

I'll be removing the downpipe tomorrow and ordering a new one from Prime along with some other stuff. As of now I'm waiting for the st205 transmission and clutch so I can bolt it to the motor and then clock the turbo.
