Things are changing/have changed.
Crazy that since the last time I posted the GT has been getting/will be getting some serious upgrades, I've started a forum(with the help of a friend, 5thgencelica.com), and the group has boomed ("official 5th gen celica" on Facebook).
Recently I've been planning the 2nd annual "official 5th gen celica" meet in the east Bay Area in Northern California.
The motor has stalled a bit because I need cams, but it is pretty much all there which is the hard part... Just have to get cams and put it together. (Check it out on http://5thgencelica.com/index.php?topic=56.0)
The trans swap went smooth, the E series is cool but the weight increase is noticeable! What's cool is I tracked down a caldina 215 fwd trans with an lsd so that's going in with the new motor. (Check it and the trans info out http://5thgencelica.com/index.php?board=3.0)
Anyways, I thought I'd post an update. Check some of the stuff out (forum, build progress, group, etc)
