Thats a Camaro not a Z, but both are RWD and both equally retarded for rally.

Around here if you say "Camaro", you are refering to either the six cylinder or an older muscle car  .
Domestics rule the culture in my area so we have a 100 different names for a Mustang or a Camaro kinda like Eskimos' have a 100 different names for snow :P .

I was saying, no one in there right mind calls a Camaro a 'Z' by itself in reference to the entire car.

The "Z28, and IROC-Z" are TRIM levels of the car Camaro. The Datsun/Nissan cars, are by heritage all "Z" cars, not trims. And thats why they get to be called, by the name of the car not the trim a "Z", or a "Z car".

And don't even try to go on about how you own one so you must know.

To further prove this lets turn to Google search results:

Results for "Z Car" - All Nissan / Datsun. For every link, for the first two+ pages. Which is as far as I checked.

http://www.zcar.com/forums/
http://www.zhome.com/
http://www.classiczcars.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z-car
http://www.arizonazcar.com/

ECT. If you were right, those would Chevy sites huh?

Game over, you're wrong, sorry.

Pretty much everyone that I know calls a LS1/LT1 Camaro a Z, but then again we are all pretty much crazy.

The "Z28, and IROC-Z" are TRIM levels of the car Camaro. The Datsun/Nissan cars, are by heritage all "Z" cars, not trims. And thats why they get to be called, by the name of the car not the trim a "Z", or a "Z car".

When a "trim level" changes the entire powertrain of the car, it becomes a different animal. For example, would you refer to a 1964 GTO as a Lemans/Tempest...? No way!!....it's a GTO even though the GTO designation was only a Trim level.

And don't even try to go on about how you own one so you must know.
First of all I have never "gone on" about owning anything. Secondly, I also own a 280Z so I see my opinion as objectionable between the two, I like them both.

To further prove this lets turn to Google search results:

Results for "Z Car" - All Nissan / Datsun. For every link, for the first two+ pages. Which is as far as I checked.

What does this prove? You are searching the term "Z car". I never have referd to my Z as "Z car", only as a "Z".

No, actually if I am right then you are acting like a total clown.

Pretty much my feeling is that this is a thread about retarded rally cars, not retarded arguments. I think that it is a riot that you take this stuff so personally. Take a Midol and get back to reality. Did you have a comment about the video or should you start a seperate thread?
