Carlos Sainz leads Dakar Rally

This South American Dakar is turning out to be a pretty sweet event.

Thats awesome that hes doing rally again. A few months ago he was racing a vw scirocco in some 24 hr race in germany.

Carlos needs competition like he needs air to breath, all of the great ones do.

PS, the greatest rallyeist of all time IMO is without a doubt Jimmy McRae. He also fathered two champion rally drivers, Allistor and Colin. Watch some of the Manx rallys from the early eightys for the proof.
