Are there any diferences between timming belts and tensioners from GEN 1, 2, 3, 4 3SGTE engines?

Thanks for the short answer.....
Can you elaborate here please?
I need to change the timing belt on my 1994 3sgte engine (1994 ST205 3sgte engine) and I need to buy a kit....(timing belt, tensioner, etc...) so I want to make sure I order the correct one...

regards,
Catalin.

ST205 parts are different then MR2 parts. You will need tensioner p/n 13540‑88480 and timing belt p/n 13568‑79105. I'm not sure if you will be able to order them from you local dealer though.

I think there is a Gates part number somewhere for the timing belt that you should be able to pick up in the US.
