Does any1 know how to do this? and if they have had any problems.. also lol if its a good thing to do for our beasts!

actually just did this mod on my 88 st165 a couple of days ago. here's the link on what to do. not sure if it's the same as your car.

thanks man, found it finally.. Hope this is the right 1 for the 185.. it doesnt really say. good for 165 not good for 205..

how you finding the mod? worth doing?

I'm not sure but maybe someone will chime in on that for you. The mod is working for me. definitely better to keep the coolant flowing but i haven't had it for that long. not sure how long before it takes its toll on the ic pump but i have seen people rebuild the pump so that's probably what i'm going to do if it ever burns out. i also swapped out the ic routing hoses to clear braided hoses to make sure that the water is flowing.

yeh the clear hoses sound like a good idea. i think it would be interesting to see.. I'd love to hear from any1 whos done this and had it on for a while..
