British Spec pipe thread to npt adaptor

I'm trying to do the plumbing work for my oil pressure gauge, its mounted and everything but its just not working. I've read on some posts that i need a bspt to npt adatpor, but where can i purchase one? I've called all around the city, but no one had anything on bspt. Thanks alot,

The thread size was so close to a 1/8 NPT that I just bought a 1/8 NPT tap and chased the threads with it. Been running leak free for over a year.

I tapped mine to 1/8npt as well.

nice, alright, well i'll see what i can do. All u guys did was screw the 1/8" npt in as much as you could?

Usually you should tap it until 3/4 of the tap's threads are inside. If you go to far you could end up with a loose fit.

k, what exactly do you mean by tapping it? just thread it in and basically tap the end of it and continue to thread it in? then repeat and what not

Tap as in the tool:

Use one of those for the given thread size you want, to change the threading to what you want. In this case, 1/8" NPT.
