I'd like to know what kind of check lists you guys have for rebuilding your motors.

Hi, i am about 99% through my rebuild and the last bits are proving to be a real drag.... not so much a checklist but more advice...

my biggest piece of advice is to bag, label, photograph everything you touch. this was known to me prior to my build but i got lazy and boy am i paying for it now.....

good luck

Haha yea the chance to find bags to use is another story too.

Brands to avoid using for those who like going eBay would be a good idea to add I think.

i did a full stock rebuild with a kit i got from ebay.

hating on ebay is so overrated and bandwagonish. almost everything on my car is from ebay, including the turbo, manifold, intercooler kit, rebuild kit, coilovers, and exhaust. no catastrophic failures here....

but yes, bag and photograph everything, and research, research, research...
