O2 sensor, wide or thin band?

im tryin ta figure out what kind of air/fuel guage would be best for the alltrac. does it matter if i have an upgraded downpipe and exhaust or can i just get a cheap one and have it still work right?

A narrowband A/F meter reads a scale of 0-1V and isn't much more than a disco light. You can determine the same information it provides by pretty much watching your tailpipe emissions.

A wideband, however, is one of the most powerful tuning devices (I know there's a debate on this, you can also use EGR). It will show you almost exactly how your A/F ratio looks, since it reads on a 0-5V scale.

Don't bother with a narrowband.
