Did they ever make anything for the ST185? A friend of mine has a TOMS decal on her car but afaik it's stock? What would they have made for our chassis?

Yeah we're leaning towards ECU, we've never pulled it but aside from engine internals everything else we can see is stock.

TOM'S only had accessories, such as oil filler caps, radiator caps, steering wheels, shift knobs, and pedals. Most of the performance parts during the 90's were available for Supra (JZA80), MR2 (SW20), Corolla LEVIN/TRUENO (AE101/111), and Starlets (EP82/91).

There were a few parts that were made for an MR2, that was interchangeable for the Celica, if doing a stroker kit. These are from my TOM'S Catalog.

Tom's Tuning Computer T.E.C. II (ECU)
Complete Engine 3S-G 2.2 Liter model
Forged 2.2 Liter Pistons (order made)
F3 Camshafts (order made)
2.2 Liter Crankshaft (order made)
Power Controller (turbo wastegate actuator)
Light Weight Flywheel

so chances are its just from some accessory that was put on at some point in the cars life, unless it somehow got an ECU
