I have a bunch of question about this engine/trans combo. I am looking at possible ideas for a swap into an AW11 and I keep seeing these combos for a lot less than the later 3s's from SW20 and such.
1. can you mate any other 5 speeds with this engine?
2. I assume since it is AWD it has front axle connections and then the rear drive shaft for the rear, if so, can one disable the rear postion while leaving the rest intact and usable?
3. length of the front axles and the spline counts.
