Excess piping

Postby my3sgte » Fri Apr 28, 2017 1:48 am

Hey all! Been awhile! Guess basically I am trying to figure out if there are any write ups on deleting some vacuum lines on the 3sgte? Or if anyone has some suggestions?
Thanks!

If your car has EGR, deleting that will clear up some vacuum lines.

Also, if you delete the TVIS by replacing it with one of these : http://koracing.net/viewproduct.php?fol ... roduct=633
Deleting the TVIS will take many of the vacuum lines sitting behind the engine along with it.

While I was back there, I also removed the TVSV since I had installed a manual boost controller to replace it.

EGR and TVSV will clean up a lot, TVIS you'll want to keep if you're running stock 165 or 185 electronics. If you've got a heavily modified setup or are running 205 or newer electronics you don't need it.
