Doesn't painting the intercooler hurt its ability to transfer heat? Seems like you would not want to coat it with anything that could be an insulator.

Not really - the core is 3" deep - the paint is really just on the leafing edge of the fins - they are still probably 98% effective.

Someone did a test on a painted I/C compaired to a non painted and the temps didnt change at all. Who did it I can't remember but it was someone big....

Yeah I can't decide if I like it painted or not.

But as far as everything else goes, your car is kind of my role model right now. Hope you don't mind me biting your style too much.

love it 8) very clean......love the sleeper effect with the painted front mount too.

Feel free - Its not like its especially original - I just like clean and subtle. (well - the exhaust is about as subtle as a heart attack but nobody's perfect)

Thanks! I actually like white better (lucky!) but I'm not a big fan of changing the original color of a car.
