I'm tired of all your clean engine bays!

Feast your eyes on this beauty!

What oil filter relocating kit did you use; or did you build it yourself?
Looks great!

Dan

Engine:

-Rebuilt Group A St185 engine out of No 105 (of 150)
- ACL forged pistons on St205 rods - held with ARP rod bolts
- TRD headgasket - and ARP head studs
-St205 WRC camshafts
-St205 WRC shim under bucket conversion
-Headwork - general porting , and flowing, Uprated springs valves etc - the usual " make more power " goodies
-TRD bearings
-Group A inlet manifold
-Golpher Alloy radiator
-Samco radiator hoses
-Engine has seen just over 10 thousand KM's since rebuild
-Currently produces 230 KW approx at the flywheel at 15PSI ( or 170 KW at all wheels )

- Professionally assembled to handle 450 HP without hassle

- Currently controlled by a wolf EMS v4 plus wolfs top of the line ecu - professionally installed and tuned by wolf themselves as it was used as a development car for the ECU setup ( no dodgy backyard mechanics here ! )

Boost is controlled currently by an AVO electronic boost controller and HKS FCD ( HKS turbo timer too ! )

Almost there....just need to run a hose from the breather to the airbox and get some carbon fiber to make the rad cooling panel.

Been almost a year since I threw a picture out here... it's nearing the end of 'Construction' and should be running soon:

Still need to mount oil filter relocate/cooler, move battery, get exhaust stuff coated, mount BOV and get pipe for air cleaner side of the turbo.

I was busy fighting the rust demons...
Dan

ps-what's a screamer pipe? I saw a few on here but don't know what they do?

I decided to paint a few parts to clean up my engine bay until I pull it and really scrub everything. Looks better for now.

Before.

After.

I'm having a problem with the rubber seal on the hood making the intercooler cover all dirty. I've tried cleaning it really well and it still marks it up. :|

On another note, I just noticed me and my car were made in the same month and year, 12/89. Ain't that something.
