Cool footage. I like the sound, very quick and clean.

With my SSQV broken now, i'll have to put my mr2 bpv to use.

Not a clue ! One day, only small valve would open. Then I looked there a few days ago, the bolt on the back had fallen out. But the valve wasn't working before the bolt fell out. So i didn't care when i saw the bolt was missing heh.

we had a friend with a MKII MR2 turbo who also vented his BPV to the atmosphere.
it not only sounds good (if you are into that) but it gets the job done of keeping the turbo happy.
from reading on MR2oc.com they say that the stock BPV works similarly to the HKS SSQV

I've heard some people claim they have problems when running some kind of blow off valve. Any noticeable issues?

What did you have to connect to make this work?

usually if its hooked up correctly, users notice that there's a short point in time when the car runs rich, due to the lack of air but all the same fuel amount between shifts. sometimes you backfire..
