The valve cover and intake manifold definately look like a BEAMS engine.

Damn I'd love to sit there and look at those classics! Dear lord I bet that GTOne was nice! Although I do see a lot of rust on the Celica... :(

A dry-sumped, turbo 3SG Beams with the wrong head, valve cover, and intake manifold?

Maybe, but I rather doubt it. That's the exact same cam belt cover they used on the JGTC cars, to boot.

Hmm... Now that you put it yeah it's the JGTC/SuperGT 3sgte powerplant. There's a picture of the Esso Supra. Probably with the stats of the modified 3sgte.

Thats cool, I see they've added a few more cars to that outside area since I was there back in 2003. Yeah I saw a fairly similar race version of what I thought the sign said was a 3SGTE engine. I was a bit silly and didn't take a picture of the sign back then though.

Here were some of the older pictures I had taken of the ST185 rally car back in 2003, it was more evening when I made my way over to that part of the crazy island place so my lighting wasn't as good. Lot of neat stuff there though.
