Had very few problems .. mainly electrical... tokk a day to sort those out and went straight through the MOT !!
all welding had been done and as was stripped out could see it was to a fairly high standard
My main problem with it is i want to run 1.0 bar boost but due to the anomaly of no turbo pressure sensor and turbo pressure being checked via the AFM its being a problem to get around at the moment
I did think about changing the wiring loom to a uk one as i have a spare uk loom, ecu and afm ( all are different to this jdm version) but i still have to check which sensors are different and which added sensors ( of which there is at least 2 ) are going to be problematic
Was a true bargain for what i paid for it.. and so far havn't had to spend too much on it, Power steering hose went the other week and i have cambelt oil seals to get done.. other than that it seems fine
Trouble is with this ecu there is not much info on it no pim wire etc, few others wired different and a few that i am unsure what they are
Boost is smooth though get a bit of creep ( may have a slight leak.... may ) if not then probably due to the downpipe and freelow exhaust
Overall i am glad you didn't go for it lol
