Not really. Sigs are the last thing on the page to load, are cached so you never have to redownload em, and for anyone on a remotely decent connection, downloads quickly.
I think Chris D's sig is on this order of magnitude, so I figured it was fine. ;-)

I was considering it.

800+ k is excessive and does whore a *lot* of RAM when I can see more than one of your sigs at a single time.

i have a crappy POS comp w/ 500 MHZ and 128 MB of RAM connecting to my wireless network at 11MBPS... and im doing fine seeing multiples of ur sig.
