My club at Simon Fraser is running a little event this friday for anyone who's interested in the lower mainland in BC. Hopefully there are some who are interested.

On Friday Oct 19th, SFICC is holding its traditional Nite Rally scavenger hunt. Like all our events, this is open to everyone, whether you go to SFU or not. Bring your friends!

The way it works is this: You come up with a team, and we give you a list. You take pictures of stuff on the list, worth various points based on difficulty (anything from a clocktower to getting a picture with the police), and the team with the most points wins. It's that simple.

Prizes:
1st prize - $100 cash and SFICC stickers to the winning team, plus a set of headlights to the driver
2nd prize - SFICC t-shirts and stickers for the team, plus a set of headlights to the driver
3rd prize - SFICC stickers for the team, plus a set of headlights to the driver

Event fee:
$3 per person, membership required - bring your cards for proof!
Membership is $2 for the semester, sign up at the event.

Rules:
-Driver must register with us for the team to be eligible.
-Once again, it's a school sanctioned event, so we need you to stay out of trouble. To ensure this, we'll be sealing up the registered team drivers' licenses in envelopes, and if they're opened, the team is disqualified.
-One camera per team.
-You must make it back and check in with us by the finish time. For every 5 minutes you're late, you lose a point, so use your time wisely.

Location
SFU ASB (Applied Science Building) - right next to b-lot.
We'll be in the atrium - the big open area directly to your left after walking through the doors to the ASB.

Itinerary
6:30pm - Sign up your team. It's suggested that you show up as early as possible; if there's a lineup, your team may not be able to start by 8, and you'll be losing valuable time.
7:45pm - Introduction and a quick runthrough of the rules.
8:00pm - Scavenger hunt begins.
10:00pm - Scavenger hunt ends. Pizza and pop will be available as we run through the teams' submissions. We'll be placing the various teams' pictures on the projector. Stick around and chill.
11:00pm - Winners announced, prizes given out.
12:00am - Optional, unofficial - cruise down to Richmond for drinks for anyone who wants to come.
