Heat soak, what heat soak :p

On a more serious note, my Glanza had its original core replaced with the TMIC intercooler from an RX7 Turbo II. The core being about half and inch thicker and a about 2in x 1in bigger in width and depth respectively. Makes a good cheap upgrade, but its no substitute for a decent FMIC.

I guess when I get my wtaic, I will have to invest in some coatings.....
what kind of coating will you use.. something cheap that does a descent job? or an expensive ceramic coating?

Neither are coated. Another flaw of toyota. I have seen pics of the wrc cars, and they do the same kind of thing to insulate it. When I purchased me wtaic they sent me the wrap so i could insulate it. It is a good move. I would concider wrapping the ines as well., and installing a fan on the radiator.

You want to get a decent sized sheet of aluminium-based heat resistant material with adhesive backing. The all it needs is wrapped. When I get round to it, i'll probably lag the pipes in to and out of it too.
