Wheres that writeup on having the Water To Air Intercooler always on?

30 seconds on, 3 minutes off? What the HELL was Toyota thinking?

I"m not sure where the write up is but it's pretty simple. Just locate the intercooler water pump, it's right underneath the battery. There should be a clip going into it with two wires. Just ground one of the wire, I"m not sure which one, and the pump will be on constantly. Just open the intercooler coolant cap to verify that the coolant is swirling around to make sure you got everything right.

You also need to ground a wire (PIM, if I'm recalling right) on the ECU or you'll get a 54 code. I can't recall right now the exact specifics for doing that, so I wouldn't try it until you get a link from someone who's done it before LOL! I know that Robert had one up on the old site but don't know when/if that'll be available again.

The reason why it goes on and off like that, is b/c they figured for the waterpumps longivity sake. They figured we didnt need it running all the time so, it only comes on at WOT.
