I was wondering if there are people interested in a Tubular Manifold for the ST165/ST185 that keeps stock turbo placement for use with stock turbo and downpipe with option for a T3 or T4 flange. I have been doing a little research and it would end up looking somewhat like the aussie manifold but not polished and not 900 dollars more like 500 dollars. The manifold would be made of 3/16 inch wall stainless steel tubing ( like the full race manifold) and Tig welded. The finished product would be bead blasted and have the option of a ceramic coating at an extra cost. I am just gauging interest before I go and spend money on the supplies to make these manifolds I dont want to make them if no one is going to buy them. These manifolds would probably come with some kind of one year warranty against cracking ( meaning you would send it to me and I would fix the crack).
So please let me know what you think about if there is any intrest. If an interest is shown I might do a first order of like 5 manifolds ( not set in stone yet nothing is) to prove the interest where if you buy one you will get a discount on the price but you have to put a down payment to prove you will buy one. Of course you will see what the manifolds look like first. Right now this is just an idea. I am working on a jig from a stock manifold to make sure placement is correct right know cause even if I dont sell these I plan on making one for myself. If there is not an interest for the equal length manifold then maybe a tubular piece to replace the stock manifold with bigger runners for more flow.
