Boost Controller Boost Source for TD06

How did you guys w/ TD06's get your boost source since the turbo has no boost control port?

I plan to drill a hole on the tmic pipe right after the turbo and install a barb fitting. Is there another alternative without having to modify the tmic or bore a hole on the turbo and create a port like the ct26?

Use a t-fitting.

Use a fitting on the intake manifold. This will probably be the most consistant.

Thanks, Wayne. I do have it teed off of the boost pressure sensor right now. I was just wondering if the pressure difference pre and post-intercooler was a big deal in terms of getting an accurate boost reading and also overboosting.

The more I think about it, it seems that getting it after the intercooler seems more accurate so you may be right.

Getting your source at the intake mani (post ic) is best.
