exhaust(head to turbo) dilemma

I am talking about the exhaust from the engine head to the turbo. I am doing a doing a turbo upgrade on a ST165 and have two possiblilities. Using the stock exhaust, porting, extrude hone and ceramic coating or aftermarket exhaust e.i. Aussey, ATS, Turbonetics.
I need some feed back from the people that have systems. Extrude honing is expensive($425) but would have a stock appearance and fit. I am pricing the aftermarket around $500 and up plus shipping? I am apprehensive about the cracking headers. I don't know for the money what would be more efficient. There has got to be large gains to a exhaust improvement right out of the engine. Or am I just better to port the stock cast iron manifold and leave it like that? I run a Aussie exhaust from the dp on.

If your manifold cracks and you need just a replacement, not a 400hp alltrac, why not consider the twin-entry upgrade?
