Someone had mentioned that i may have hit fuel cut, does that reset on the next turn of the key or only when i disconnect the negative battery terminal?

The code is still kept by the ecu but the actual condition of fuel cut ends when the car is turned off.

Before I had an FCD, I would constantly hit FC on freeway onramps, and would put the car in neutral, kill and restart it so I could at least run with some boost.

Pretty new to these cars, but I am hitting fuel cut under heavy accelleration. What is an FCV? I work in the computer industry so I am used to abbreviations and acronyms, but it would be nice to compile a list of them as they are related to this car.

Thanks,

Dave

You mean FCD?
FCD = Fuel Cut Defenser
It either eliminated or adjusts fuel cut to higher psi.

I know its an old topic, but this happens to me all the time, onramps kill me. I actually came up one near my house the other day, rather sharp 90 degree like turn onto the ramp, broke the ass end free and wham fuel cut, what a bitch that is sometimes :oops:
