does the 185RC CS have the same turbo as standard 185?

I was just wondering...is the CT26 of the standard 185 the same as the 185RC CS edition?

Good question, the RC model got a ceramic turbo, but I heard all imports received a metal wheel to replace them.

RCs and facelift ST185 have the same steel shafted turbo
only the pre face-lift 185s have ceramic turbos possibly excluding the pre facelift wide body 'GT-FourA'

by facelift you mean 90-91 vs. 92-93? What are the benefits/deterrents from having either a ceramic or steel turbo

Yes. Pre-facelift = '89-91. Facelift = '91-93

The benefit of the steel wheeled turbo is that it will have a better threshold for running antilag on rally cars. And for us that that use our GT-Fours everyday they will be able to handle a lot more boost as the ceramic exhaust wheels tend to shatter when they over speed/overheat.
