Turbo not working...

I brought my car back from the shop the other day. Since then, the turbo will not kick in. As of now, I have a faulty o2 sensor... could this be the cause of the turbo problem? I also had my mid-pipe replaced... the shop says they think there's a flow problem in the new pipe, and that may be what is causing my turbo not to work.

Might either or both of these problems cause my turbo not to work? The wastgate is operating as normal. Not stuck in either postion.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you check the actuator?
Apply some pressure to the actuator and see if the arm moves.

I'll check that out once I go pick it up (again). So, what am I looking for? If the arm moves, then what? And if it doesn't?

this is why i dont take my car to any shops....

I know, I know. I wish I had the time, the tools, the know-how, and the space to work on it myself. Hey, at least I'm not taking it directly to the Toyo dealership. ;)

The spring inside the actuator should hold the flap closed until pressure (on the intake side) exceeds the setting (7psi or so) Do you feel any resistance on the wastegate arm when you move it?
