t3/t04e turbo help

Hi,

I just purchased a turbonetics t3/t04e 50 trim turbo and need some help taking the exhaust housing out. I took off all the bolts but cant seem to get it to budge. Please let me know if anyone knows how to do this. Also, on the external wastegate vacuum line plumbing i see that there are 2 ports one for the turbo and one for off the intake mani. Is it really necessary to use both? Any help would me much appreciated.

you gotta take the compressor side off first and take the nut of the compressor wheel, and remove that if i'm not mistaken... its been a while since i had my turbo apart.

Yeah I think he's right. You have to take the compressor housing and the wheel off first. That should do it for ya.

Got it off today. No, the compressor wheel does not have to come off :shrug: . All that needed to be taken off was those 6 bolts then a little hammering out. I called turbonetics to make sure. I also used a little lube and heating with a torch.
