fuel pressure regulator relocation question

is there a way to relocate my fpr via a hose to the firewall somewhere? to where my fpr sits on the rail, its a tight fit between the #4 injector plug and the fpr. its hard to take out the plug w/the fpr in the way (vice versa). what parts do i need? im not good with my terms when it comes to fittings/hoses, but im learning.

I have seen options of locating an aftermarket FPR in the EGR valve location and the cruise control bolt location on the strut bar. In both
cases the EGR and cruise control box are removed

Havent seen anything that moves and retains the factory FPR

My aftermarket fpr is on the front of the intake plenum. I've sold kits that use the cruise cover as a mounting point, too. The cruise cover is one of the best places I could find, if the stock egr is still in place.

Here's how mine is done:

And here is the cruise cover setup:

thanks josh. can you tell me the size/part number you used to mate the braided line to the rail. did you use a -6 AN hose to female -6 AN fitting? what male thread fitting did you use to bolt to the rail?

Rail is M12x1.25, both at the inlet and outlet. Same for the outlet of the fuel filter. You'll notice I use male/male adapters at the top of the fuel filter, and inlet/outlet of the rail --- M12x1.25 to -6. Then you can just use standard -6 hose and female ends.

In those pics, the high pressure (pre-fpr) side is all -6, low pressure (return side) I use -4.

Sales pitch -- I sell these kits still if you'd rather not go hunt down all the parts.
