Headgasket and the 5SGTE

OK, question for ya....

What headgasket is used when using a 98+5S-FE, and a Gen 2 3S-GTE head? I know there is the ATS specific one, but is that just a rebranded headgasket from something else?

Does anyone have a picture of the ATS 5S-GTE headgasket?

Most of these specialty items from various vendors, are just re-named shelf items with a 20% mark-up

"high volume 3S oil pump" = later generation 5S oil pump
"3S shimless buckets" = 1zzFE buckets

I kind of feel that this might be why ATS doesn't post a picture of the gasket on their site.

Now, I don't want to take away business from anyone, but I do want to find "the trick"

The trick? I don't quite follow your post.

Regardless of the origin of the product, they might have a picture.


I'd have taken one... but my 5SGTE gasket from them is already mated to my head and block.

I have ATS headgsket, brand new. I know my friend will kill me :D:D:D

but I will post a pic later. Also, I have a 5s cometic, so I will directly compare the two.

right now there is a snow storm and 2 meters of snow in front of my garage.
