So I live in CA, yes it sucks. I failed the hc and co's emmision part of our smog and iv been getting pretty bad gas mpg. I think my pre cat is bad, but maybe I'm running rich? I have a wideband o2 that I need to install, what is a normal afr and what kind of mpg are you guys getting?

I am pretty sure normal AFR is 14ish. Maybe a little lower for our cars, but not too low.
Cat could be an issue. Or o2.
When I had my trac I got 16 to 17 in the city and 25 highway. Lead foot contributed to the city mpg lol.
